Here are some ideas for adding to or changing your McCalls Creates Paper Quilt Creations patterns.

Ballon Card GC107a


Add some little flags (bunting) by folding a diamond shape in half over a very fine string or cotton.
 

All my card designs look great framed in a regular store purchased frame.

Bejewelled Egg GC118

Bejewelled Egg looks lovely in My Minds Eye ' "The Sweetest Thing" tied with a velvet bow adorned                              with a diamontee buckle.

Butterfly Card GC116

Created here into gift tags to adorn a present. Also good as a hanging decoration.

Created as a fabric butterfly using a fabric template and appliqued onto a child's t-shirt.

Celebration Heart (pattern #SP101)
Try taking this scrapbook page - off the page and create a decoration to hang from a dorr handle or hook on a door. Embellish. Add a name or a Do No Disturb wording (lovely for a wedding night). Bling it up, put 3D flowers and butterflies on to add that extra something. Makes a lovely gift for a child's bedroon door. More pictures to follow.

I used the Italian Kartos range of wrapping papers to create this piece. Swarovski crystals, butterfly embellishment, pick satin ribbon, Mettler multi colour thread.

Using paper collection Country Escape from Tilda. First layering paper was cut out with pinking shears. Die Cuts from the paper collection were added using 3D dots to raise them from the surface of the quilt. Embellished with Swarovoski crystals.

Little Princess Dress QP111

This picture was created using beautiful paper from Tilda collection  "The Seaside Life". I have raised the albatross cut outs with 3D foam dots and added self adhesive pink pearls and Swarvoski Crystals to the forget-me-not flowers.

Lucky Elephant QP104

Lucky Elephant looks great created in red, white and blue - just right for a new born baby boy.

Oh Christmas Tree QP112

Oh Christmas Tree looks great in non traditional Christmas colours. Use Christmas cards you have received for their great colours and sparkle. This tree was adorned with Prima embellishments, Swarvoski Crystals and a Susan Clarke Charm. The owl paper is by Art Stamps Australia.

Whoo Gives a Hoot

Created in a selection of Tilda papers. Leaves free hand cut, sewn down the centre with zigzag then lifted at each side and then cut with curved scissors (like a fringe).
